How it works

1. Tap Scan and photograph the receipt — long receipts can take several photos; PDFs and e-receipts work too.
2. AI reads the shop, date, total and every item in the background. The screen never freezes; keep scanning the next one.
3. Each item is matched to the LHDN reliefs of that receipt's year. Anything the AI is unsure about is marked "Needs review" — correct it once and the app learns.
4. The receipt and its image are kept as proof, ready for e-Filing or if LHDN ever asks.

Share to ListBelanja from any app

Once ListBelanja is installed as an app on an Android phone or a computer, it appears in the system Share menu. A receipt photo in your gallery, a PDF in an email or a file sent by message — tap Share, choose ListBelanja, and the receipt is scanned like any other. No separate upload, no copy-pasting.

On iPhone the system does not offer Share to web apps — use your receipt email address (forward e-receipts) or tap Scan inside the app.

Sharing text or a link works too — a "Grab RM…" message or an e-receipt link without a file opens the receipt-less expense form with the name and amount filled in.

How many AI scans do I get?

Manual receipt entry is always unlimited.

Photo check before scanning — no quota wasted

• Blurry, too dark, blank or too small photos are caught on your device before uploading — retake or scan anyway.
• The SAME receipt file picked again while the app is open is recognised on your device and its receipt opens straight away — no upload, no second reading.
• Digital PDFs (bills, invoices, e-receipts) and receipt e-mails are read from their text — faster and more accurate than reading an image.

One door for every receipt and note

• The Capture Centre brings together receipt scanning, photos/PDFs, bank statements, Form EA/EC, payslips, email and Telegram.
• A quick note by text or voice in 3 languages — “lunch 18.90 card yesterday” is parsed into an amount, date, account and category.
• Offline, notes are kept on the device and sent automatically when you are back online.
• To review: unconfirmed receipts, uncertain notes and duplicates across receipts, notes & statement imports — confirmed in bulk.
• Search across receipts, spending, Form EA/EC, payslips, invoices and business records.

Automatic capture — bank alerts, phone shortcuts & Telegram

• Forward bank & e-wallet alert emails to your receipt inbox address — the amount, merchant & date become a note to review.
• Automatic forwarding through a mailbox filter is supported: the forwarding confirmation code is shown in the app.
• Phone shortcut with a device token: a bank SMS becomes a note directly; revoke the token any time.
• Text the Telegram bot: “lunch 18.90” is recorded, “+ eggs, milk” goes to the shopping list.
• OTP/TAC codes, full account numbers & balances are never stored; links in emails are never opened.
