One receipt, two forms: split personal, business and asset items
Your stationery receipt has your child's books (Lifestyle, Form BE) and A4 paper for the business (Form B) — or a computer-shop receipt has a work laptop (an asset). Other apps make you pick one. ListBelanja reads every line and lets you tag it — Personal, Business, Asset or leave it — with running totals so no ringgit is counted twice.

How to split
- Scan the receipt as usual — the AI extracts every line item with its price.
- Open the receipt: each line has four choices — Personal (BE), Business (B), Asset, Unassigned. Pick the LHDN relief for personal items, a category for business items (Form B, or a rental category for a rental property — the allowable category is suggested) and an asset class for a computer, phone or furniture; or tag all at once.
- Tap Use this split: the personal total becomes the relief claim amount; the business total becomes ONE expense (main category) under the source you choose; each asset item becomes an Assets & capital allowance row.
- Save. The same receipt is proof for both forms; BE e-Filing and Form B read the right numbers.
Rules the app keeps for you
- An item has one use: personal, business OR asset — never twice.
- LHDN YA2026 caps apply to the personal total (e.g. Lifestyle RM2,500).
- Client entertainment is only partly deductible (LHDN's current percentage); personal items in Form B are 0% — each Form B category carries its own percentage.
- Computers, phones & furniture are suggested as Assets — capital allowance every year, not a one-off expense; a passive rental property gets no capital allowance.
- Receipts in a locked year cannot be re-split.
Frequently asked questions
What if every item is business?
Tag All: Business. No BE claim is made and the whole receipt becomes a Form B expense — the same as the existing "Make it a business expense" button.
A laptop on the receipt — expense or asset?
An asset. Tag it Asset (the app suggests it for computers, phones & furniture) and pick the class — it is recorded under your business source's Assets & capital allowance with the receipt as proof, and the allowance is worked out every year.
Can my accountant see the split?
Yes — invite your accountant as an auditor (read-only). The AutoCount / SQL Account export contains only the business share.
